Christmas Party

We had ourselves a Merry Mexican Christmas party last Sunday.
I sent out this little email as the invite...

Hello Everyone!

Sorry....no cute invitation this time. But I do have a little rhyme for you.

It's Christmas time
It's Christmas time
And so I bring you a little rhyme

Our house is cute
With a tree to boot
So come on over and have a hoot

Get a lift
Bring a gift
Or else we'll all be kind of miffed

This rhyme is dumb
And so I'm done
I hope you all are able to come.

Ok, that's all I've got.
Come on Sunday, December 4 at 4:00 in the afternnon. Bring a white elephant gift. Something cheesy and cheap. I will accept hostess gifts as well. Nick and Jeremy are making Tamales, so just bring some sort of side dish or appetizer or dessert or drinks to share...but I will have hot chocolate...what more do we really need?. Bring whatever you want because I don't feel like assigning.
I love you all!
Mindy and Nick (but really just Mindy)

The tamales were delectable....
And the desserts were just ok...my oven sucks....it's totally not me, i swear.
We had ourselves a rousing white elephant gift exchange.
Very fitting that Tim opened the fire extinguisher, seeing as how he is a fireman.
Oh Belle, the cuteness...

Believe it or not, I actually really did get a hostess gift from Natalie....she's my favorite.

Well, that's that.  Pardon my crappy iphone pictures.  I was a little upset with my lack of pictures from this party.  I will do better next time, I promise.

You should seriously get youself some of these....or get them as Christmas gifts.  But, you will want your own...trust me.
Head here to Caramel Cup's etsy site to check them out.

  2. Hey Mindy (and Nick, too!)!
    Lydia here...
Thanks for the super-cute Christmas card! We got it yesterday. It's great to learn a little about your lives and such, like the fact that you have dogs and a blog, something we have in common with you aside from Scott and Nick's genetics! It seems I hardly know you.
I'll look forward to hearing more about your lives as you post here.
May your Christmas be filled with comfort, joy and LOVE!
